The American Victorian
Museum sponsors the Convention and The Altar Show,
held for ten days each year
at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley, California
We also do step-on

one of the best privately
preserved and restored 19th Century cities in the West.
In 1972 the Museum acquired historic Miners Foundry (1856 and following), began the initial rehabilitation of the building and there offered a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.
While it occupied the bulding until1988 the Museum founded community radio KVMR
and provided fertile ground for a variety of original productions.
It was the birthplace of Foothill Theatre Company and Performing Arts Guild.
